1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DummifAI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
The Service provides mock/synthetic data for development and testing purposes only. You may not use the Service to generate data intended to deceive, defraud, or harm any person or entity. All data returned is fictional and procedurally generated.
3. API Keys
You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share your API key publicly or embed it in client-side code. You are responsible for all requests made with your key.
4. Rate Limits and Fair Use
Free tier accounts are limited to 50 requests per day and 20 requests per minute. Pro accounts receive unlimited requests and 100 requests per minute. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the Service or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
5. Intellectual Property
All generated data is synthetic and does not represent real individuals, companies, or financial instruments. DummifAI retains ownership of the Service, its algorithms, and all associated infrastructure.
6. Payment and Subscriptions
Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. Refunds outside that window are considered on a case-by-case basis.
7. Email Communications
By creating an account you consent to receive transactional emails related to your account — including welcome messages, payment receipts, subscription changes, API key security alerts, and usage limit notifications. These emails are required to operate the Service. Optional non-transactional emails (currently a monthly usage recap) include an unsubscribe link in every message and can be disabled at any time without affecting your account.
8. Account Management and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend, downgrade, or delete accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or circumvent rate limits. Administrative actions on your account (such as key rotation or deletion) are taken only by authorised staff and may be triggered by security incidents or policy violations.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of Liability
DummifAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
